we connected our piezo transducer to the arduino board as a sensor for the LED output.

it didn't work: boooooooo

we also ordered a few different components to measure vibration/impact

even though we didn't get our light to blink (yet again) ... our goal is to be able to store the kinetic energy.... maybe with something like this:

and furthermore...beyond the shoe idea....this experiment could open up a variety of textile embeded options due to the thinness of the input and storeage devices.....

these bad boys could be hooked up to harvest wind energy....
